A browser extension your admin installs for everyone, once. It records which AI tools are opened and for how long. It never reads a prompt, an answer or a file. You get one report: the tools in use, the seats you pay for that nobody opens, and who is getting value.
Most teams already pay for AI, often several times over, and nobody can say who uses what.
Every AI site opened in your team's browsers: ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot, Perplexity, DeepSeek and the long tail. How many people use each, and how often. Mark the ones you approve; the rest stand out.
Enter the seats you pay for. See who has not opened their tool this month, and who keeps using a tool you have no seat for, usually on a personal account or paying out of their own pocket.
Active people and AI time per team, week by week. Find the people who use it well and the teams that have not started, before you buy more.
Only timing leaves the browser: which AI site, when, for how long. Never what was typed, what the AI answered, or which files were shared.
| Tool | People | Seats | Status |
|---|---|---|---|
| ChatGPT | 27 | 20 paid · 6 unused | approved |
| Claude | 11 | none | not approved |
| Gemini | 8 | in Workspace | approved |
| Perplexity | 5 | none | not approved |
| DeepSeek | 2 | none | not approved |
A sketch of the planned report. The team product is not built yet; early-access teams decide what goes in it.
Through the Google Admin console or Microsoft Intune, in Chrome and Edge. About ten minutes, no change to anyone's accounts.
A short notice explains it: which AI sites, when and for how long. Nothing about content.
A dashboard and a weekly email: tools in use, unused seats, adoption by team.
I am building the team version with the first five teams. Tell me a little about yours and I will reply by email.
Not as a team product yet. The part that measures AI time without reading content already runs in WhileAI's personal Chrome extension. The team dashboard, the admin install and the weekly report are what the first five teams will shape. That is why it is early access.
That is one of the things I want to settle with the first teams. Tell me in the form which you would want, and which your people would accept.
Ahmet Aytar, an independent developer in Istanbul. One person, so you will be talking to whoever writes the code.
Not fixed yet. I am setting it with the first teams, against what the report saves you in unused seats. Early-access teams get the first month free and keep the price they agree.
