These terms cover buying WhileAI Pro. They are written to be read. If something here is unclear, write to me before you buy and I will answer.
WhileAI is a browser extension made by Ahmet Aytar, an independent developer. Payments are taken by Polar Software Inc. ("Polar") acting as merchant of record. That means Polar is the seller named on your receipt, Polar collects and remits any sales tax or VAT, and your card statement shows Polar. Polar's own terms apply to the payment itself. I provide the product and the support.
WhileAI Pro is not sold by Google, and Google is not a party to your purchase. The Chrome Web Store only distributes the free extension.
A licence key that unlocks the Pro features of the WhileAI extension for one person, on the browsers that person uses. The features are listed on the pricing page. The free plan stays available whether or not you buy.
Prices may change for new purchases. A change never applies to a period you have already paid for, and a lifetime licence is never charged again. Tax, where it applies, is added at checkout and shown before you pay.
Every install starts with 14 days of Pro. No card is asked for and nothing is charged when it ends. You simply continue on the free plan.
Monthly and yearly plans renew automatically at the price you signed up at, on the same day of the month or year, until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from the customer portal linked in your Polar receipt, or by writing to me. When you cancel, Pro stays active until the end of the period you have paid for, and then the extension returns to the free plan. Nothing you recorded is deleted.
You can have your money back within 14 days of any first purchase, with no reason needed. The full policy is on the refunds page.
The licence key is shown on the confirmation page as soon as the payment succeeds, and emailed to the address you gave. Paste it into the WhileAI popup to activate. If it does not arrive within an hour, write to me.
A key that is published or clearly shared may be revoked. If that happens to a key you paid for and did not share, tell me and I will issue a new one.
WhileAI works inside other companies' websites: ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity and DeepSeek. Those sites change without notice, and a change can stop a feature working on one of them until I ship a fix. I fix these promptly, usually within days, and fixes are free on every plan. I cannot promise that every one of the five sites will be supported for ever, because that is not mine to promise. If a site you rely on becomes impossible to support, write to me and I will refund the unused part of your current period.
WhileAI is not affiliated with OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Perplexity or DeepSeek. Using it with their services remains subject to your agreements with them.
The software is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, my liability for anything arising from a purchase is limited to the amount you paid in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms removes rights you have as a consumer under the law of the country you live in.
Buying Pro does not create an account with me. Polar holds your payment details and email address under its own privacy policy; I see your email address and the country of purchase, so that I can support you. What the extension itself stores, and the only network requests it makes, are described in the privacy policy.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim there.
If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them. The terms that applied when you bought continue to apply to that purchase.
